Starting today (yikes!) the Tattoos (so named for their propensity over the years to tattoo folks with our Circle C brand) begin showing up on the Extravaganza 2019 scene with forecasted partly cloudy skies and temps rising into the low 80’s (as in “perfect”!!).
Headlining the Twos is long time veteran and wine grower Tim “Squawfish” Rodgers (so named years ago for attempting to qualify a squawfish for a “first fish” bet that he and I had while fishing together on the Blackfoot river) and his wonderful daughter Mardi “CT” Rodgers (monikered for the cutthroat rendering which she sleeps under at our Blackfoot house) who is bringing with her not only her long time childhood friend Ella Caughey accompanied by her father Todd Caughey but, get this, her Wyoming college beau Caleb Carr! It seems just like yesterday when CT first came here as a young lass half of her current age and, now, in appears that she no longer flies solo!!
The Tattoos seasoned veterans also include our great friends (i) wine business broker Joe “Campari” Ciatti, (ii) dynamic husband and wife duo of Kevin “CPA” Sweeney and Christine “Double Rainbow”, and (iii) faithful father son duo of Al “Good Earth” Baylacq and his “Son of Good Earth” Dakota.
And then come the balance of the Tattoos, rookies all: father-son (appropriate for this upcoming Father’s Day Weekend!) Tony and Corey Campodonico; Sonoma meat purveyor Brad Wagner and his sidekick Darryl Rodgers; and, flying in early from the East Coast, family business advisor Stu Welsh and client Tom Jones.
The Extravaganza stage is now fully set both weather-wise and flow-wise, so watch out for The Tattoos to pick up right where Dem Ones left off, the latter posting an impressive seven (count ‘em!) trout to E-19’s Twenty Inch Club board!!
