Greetings fellow E-19ers from Headquarters where, after an all night drive Fri-Sat, your Hostess Marvelous Michell and our E-19 Mascot, Ma’am Da Black Lab, arrived in tact to witness Montana in its forthcoming summer glory. Simply stated, things are perfect and I can’t wait to welcome each of you on your arrival days, to wit: as set forth in the attached photos, it is stunningly beautiful here, the flow is still pushing along at a robust (but very fishable) 2,500 cfs, and the water temperature has now risen into the low 50’s, all fully and abundantly setting the stage for this year’s Extravaganza!!
Last evening we were sitting on the back porch with son “Lefty” Tyler in 80 degree temperatures that were so pleasant that it simply was hard to harken back just five months ago when we were avoiding that same porch in minus six degree weather preparing for daughter “Boots” Trina nuptials here in the back yard. Indeed, what a difference a few months makes and, as we enter into the few-in-number summer Montana months, everything accelerates such that the variance of a week will equal that of a month in other climes.
